My computer is in the shop

Destrotor baby stikes again!

In all fairness I really shouldn't blame Chloe until I find out what is wrong with the laptop. But it started with one of her "mom's keyboard is fun to bang on" marathons. I ended up erasing and re-installing the operating system, and that still did not work so I took it to the nice man at Simply Computing. He told me that they would not even get a chance to look at it until September 15th. So at best I might get it back by the end of the month. Mister's computer is still working so I will occassionally be updating (as now) on his machine.

But since the second our internet had not been working. Everytime someone changes companies in any of the other apartments here our internet gets disconnected. Its fixed now but that just happened yesterday!

I am trying to plan Chloe's Birthday. Its freaking me out, because its less than a month away. I have no idea where to have it. Our yard is not baby safe at this point, so an outdoor party should happen at Trout Lake. An indoor party could concievebly happen here, but I would want to have all the carpets gone before then. Hopefully it will be raining by then.

The one good thing about my computer needing to go to the shop was I bought myself a ipod. I wanted one. I had some extra cash (thank you tax man) and I was in an Apple re-seller. Ironically there was a prize for a draw at work, and what should it be but a 2 gig nano? And who should win this boon? So anyway now we have two nanos and I guess I should give one to Mister?
