Chloe has a fascination with the little tiny Jack Skelton fiqure we have. I love Nightmare before Christmas passionately. I want to get this doll, possibly as a christmas present, but as much as I say its for me, its really for Chloe. Somehow I can't picture my mom buying it for me though.

The general verdict is that snow is not fun. But she has changed her mind before. We will just have to see what happens. It is still possible although unlikely that the snow will melt and everything will be lovely. Otherwise she will have to get used to it I suppose. Nana Greig gave us this lovely warm suit, which is way too big, but fits two of layers underneath. Which means its just right.

Playing on the big kid stuff was exciting for everyone.

We are surviving the boil water advisory. I ordered bottled water today, thinking that I would be put on some sort of waiting list and maybe get some delivered next week. And it arrived today. Very exciting, and I feel like I have a bit of a buffer on the outside world. At least I can make sure we will have clean water if it lasts awhile.

zzzz says Chloe. She fell asleep watching an episode of the nature of things. Which I think is a complement to Dr. Suzuki. There aren't many things that can put Chloe to sleep.

She's been off her food lately, it seems like she will only eat it if it has rice in it. And she is not eating as much as she used to before bed. Which means that she is up in the night, every night for the last week. This is very tiring for me and has led to some general crankyness on my part. I have to work this saturday for four hours, and that should be loads of fun!

The only good thing about my job is that being cranky is not considered to be a bad thing, as long as I only take it out on the clients and not the co-workers!

I just wish we were allowed to take naps in the afternoon!

Chloe's first out-of-family experience

Mister had a job interview, and I wasn't going to get home from work for another hour, so Chloe went to Clara's house to hang out. I was worried, because although she's been without the mamma and dadda before its always been with Gramma Hogan. And Gramma Hogan is extremely tolerant, even if Chloe had a tantrum there is very little chance that it would phase the GH. But what if she just flops out on the floor and screams the whole time she is at Clara's? Clara would never be allowed to play with us again! Chloe would be black listed!

Of course all these fears are completely out of proportion. She hung out with Clara and had a great time. Clara's mom said it was hilarious and she had a good time too.

Chloe has been running around the park in robeez for EVER. But with the advent of cold weather it doesn't seem to be a great idea to have her jumping in freezing puddles in soft shoes. These are five and a halfs, and they look too bif on her foot, but the fives just pinched too much at her ankles. I am not sure if the anti-pink junket is going to last. Every shoe she brought me was pink, I was hoping she would go for the batman ones, but she kept bringing me strawberry shortcake shoes. She likes these ones for the most part and she doesn't seem to have any trouble walking in them, as you can see.
