Saturday afternoons at the library are getting to be a pattern with me and monkey butt. She runs around inside and I try and find something to read for the week ahead. I am hooked on guy gaverial kay right now. Reading the second half of the Sarantine Mosaic. This book is moving a lot faster than the first.

One good thing about chasing Miss Chloe is that she sometimes leads me into different areas of the library. So instead of just picking up the same old sci/fi/fantasy stuff I find other subjects to expand my horizons. For example I picked up "Out of Place" the memoir of Edward Said (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Said) on my last visit. I tried to read Orientalism some time ago. But I became distracted by the munchkin pictured above. I have a dim hope that the memoir will encourage me to pick up Orientalism again and read all the way through.

But I also picked up a Kim Stanley Robinson world's gonna end novel. So we will have to see how far we get into the whole serious reading thing.

This was taken outside the library at britannia. She is laughing like a maniac at a big black lab that was trying to lick her face

I had a dream last night that you came to help me move to BC even though you were also moving yourself. And I was asking you how much rent costs for a place of my own and I think I had a job interview at this one place, but didn't really have a job. I also was asking about whether it was really a huge hassle to get a land line (phone) or if it could still be done. Your man was helping me move too. Weird (not really).

its weird in that it was a pretty likely thing... if you were to move i would come and help...

and that you remembered all the details

LOL. Well I find it funny that some of the conversation had to deal with stuff you mentioned when you came to visit in January. Especially the whole phone thing and the price of rent which in my dream I think you said $1000 a month.

As for details, if I remember the dream enough I tend to have a good recollection of what happened and who was in it. Just wanted you to know I was having dreams about you. ;)

Well hopefully you can give me a larger heads up if you are coming this way in September (then you did in January). That way I could maybe get a few days off and spend them with my favourite gal!
