Inspirations

Hi, I'm Chloe's mom. I have another blog, but its very annoying to post photos alongside the text. so I am going to test drive blogger and see if its as wonderful as it seems to be.

I've been inspired lately, the baby seems to take up so much of my time, but at the same time she gives me focus and direction. Also Flickr gives me many wonderful ideas for projects and things that i should be doing with my time instead of simply sitting around the house. I want to do things that will make our lives together more fun, more beautiful, or in general just more interesting. To that end i have given myself several projects that I hope to finish forthwith.

They are:
Finish cross stitch for WEB, frame and put in mail.
Knit myself a pair of leg warmers. (flat 2 needle)
Make curtains for the baby's bureau (i know it sounds odd, but the bureau needs curtains)
patch diaper bag
make myself a pair of leg warmers (knitted in the round/4 needles)
cross sticthes for mom and mom in law (its possible mom in law doesn't want one in which case skip her)
make a throw from recycled t-shirts
Closest to completion is a cross-stitch, which i intend to present as a gift to a relative.

To accomplish these goals i may need help. I therefore intend to seek assistance from the seam rippers craft collective for help with the knitting and quilting. I also have several books that i haven't read that will probably come in handy.

so for now i am simply going to get to work on the cross stitch and hopefully finish it tonight!
